Biographical Information[edit]
Allan Randall is the son of Mike Randall and the brother of Carl Randall. He played for the South African national team in the 2008 Final Olympic Qualification Tournament, spending one game at DH and two as a pinch-runner; he went 1 for 3 with a walk and a run. Allan is on South Africa's roster for the 2009 World Baseball Classic. In the 2009 World Baseball Classic, he struck out against Vladimir García in his lone at-bat, pinch-hitting for Mpho Ngoepe.
Randall played for South Africa in the 2009 Baseball World Cup, going 2 for 8 with a walk and playing error-free defense as their starting second baseman. In the 2013 World Baseball Classic Qualifiers, he struck out in both of his at-bats. He was one of South Africa's oldest players in the 2017 World Baseball Classic Qualifiers, in which he was 1 for 4 with a run and a RBI, his lone hit coming off Jamie Wilson.
