Biographical Information[edit]

Alfredo Arias played in the minors leagues and the CPBL.

Arias began his professional career with the Toronto Blue Jays, and he was 1-1 with a 8.79 ERA for the GCL Blue Jays in 1992. He went 2-3 with a 2.92 ERA in the GCL in 1993, but his ERA was 8.10 in 3 games for the Dunedin Blue Jays. Arias then had a 3.73 ERA in 17 games for the St. Catharines Blue Jays in 1994 (going 2-4 with 3 saves), and he pitched 35 games with a 4.16 ERA for the Hagerstown Suns in 1995 (4-6, Sv, 4.16). Arias left the Blue Jays system after the 1995 season, and he pitched 2 innings for the Rhode Island Tiger Sharks jn 1996. The Brother Elephants signed him in 1999, but Arias only pitched one game for them, and his professional career ended.
