Biographical Information

Alexander Quintero has been a long-time hurler for Cienfuegos. In 2003, he led the Super Liga with 10 games pitched. His 10 intentional walks in 2005-2006 tied for the Cuban Serie Nacional lead. Through 2011-2012, his 17th season, he was 82-120 with 45 saves and a 4.53 ERA. He was 2-2 with two saves and a 1.80 ERA in 2012-2013 and tied Isbel Hernández and Diosdani Castillo for the most pitching appearances (24).
