Biographical Information[edit]
Alex Treviño spent a decade as a Spanish language broadcaster for the Houston Astros. He served as a catcher in three different decades. He was signed by the New York Mets and scout Nino Escalera in May 1974 after playing for the Ciudad Victoria Henequeneros of the Mexican Center League in 1973.
He is the brother of Bobby Treviño
