Biographical Information[edit]

Starting pitcher Alex Keudell has pitched in the minor leagues since 2012 (through 2014).

He was originally drafted by the Minnesota Twins in the 38th round of the 2011 amateur draft, but opted not to sign. He did sign after being taken by the Tampa Bay Rays in the 27th round of the 2012 amateur draft.

With the Princeton Rays in 2012, he was 3-4 with a 2.28 ERA in 16 games (6 starts). The Rays released him following the season and he signed with the Los Angeles Angels and went 9-4 with a 3.42 ERA in 24 starts between the Burlington Bees and Inland Empire 66ers in 2013. He made the Midwest League Mid-Season All-Star team that year. He began 2014 with the 66ers.
