Biographical Information[edit]

Relief pitcher Ajay Meyer played in the Toronto Blue Jays minor league system from 2011 to 2014.

He was signed by the Blue Jays as an undrafted free agent on June 12, 2011 and made 13 starts that year, going 4-2 with a 3.02 ERA for the Bluefield Blue Jays. In 2012, he converted to relief pitching and went 3-3 with 33 saves, 50 games finished and a 3.67 ERA in 54 games for the Lansing Lugnuts. His performance earned him a spot on the Midwest League Mid- and Post-Season All-Star teams that year. In 2013, he was 3-2 with a 2.77 ERA in 48 games for the Dunedin Blue Jays, striking out 76 batters in 68 1/3 innings. After making four appearances for Dunedin in 2014, he retired in early May.

He was 11-7 with a 3.10 ERA in 119 games (13 starts) overall.
