The Agricultores de Granma y Las Tunas won the first Cuban Elite League, held in 2022-2023. They advanced to the 2023 Caribbean Series, the third different Cuban League champion to play in a Caribbean Series following the Cuban Winter League (1949-1960) and Cuban Serie Nacional (2014-2019). They only were 1-6 in the Series. Managed by Carlos Martí, their top players in their title run had been Alexquemer Sánchez, Yordanis Alarcón, Alberto Civil and César García.
