Biographical Information

Yordanis Alarcón is the brother of Yosvani Alarcón and Yosbel Alarcón and has been an infielder for Las Tunas. He hit .298/.351/.401 in 2007-2008 while fielding .950; he was the starting third baseman for Las Tunas and played second as well. Through that season, his 8th, he had a career average of .276 and slugging of .367. Yordanis slumped to .247/.280/.283 and fielded .937 in 2008-2009.

In 2009-2010, Alarcón rebounded to hit .295/.329/.406. He fielded .934, starting at third for Las Tunas and also seeing action at shortstop.
