Biographical Information[edit]
Adrian Hollinger pitched in the minor leagues and the CPBL.
Hollinger was signed by the San Diego Padres, and he had a 12.75 ERA in 8 games for the AZL Padres in 1991. He went 0-6 with a 6.20 ERA for the Spokane Indians in 1992, then he improved to 8-3 with a 2.54 ERA and 5 saves in 44 appearances in 1993 for the Waterloo Diamonds. Hollinger then had a 5.70 ERA in 19 games for the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes in 1994, and his ERA was 4.82 in 25 games for the Wichita Wranglers. He then went to the Florida Marlins, and was a strike replacement player, but he allowed 17 runs in 25 innings for the Brevard County Manatees, then he was released. He also went 3-4 with a 2.85 ERA for the Sonoma County Crushers to finish off the 1995 season.
The Atlanta Braves then signed him, and Hollinger was 1-4 with a 4.63 ERA for the Greenville Braves in the rest of the 1995 season. He was 2-1 with a 5.46 ERA in Greenville in 1996, then he moved to the California Angels. Hollinger’s ERA was 1.56 in 12 games for the Lake Elsinore Storm, and he went 1-1 with a 4.32 ERA for the Midland Angels.
Hollinger then signed with the Wei Chuan Dragons of Taiwan, but his ERA was 7.64 in 6 games in 1997, then he was released. He went to the Lubbock Crickets after leaving Taiwan, and he recorded a 9.68 ERA in 17 games. He struggled again in 1998, and he had a 0-5 record with a 7.33 ERA for the Pacific Suns while pitching 2 games with a 5.40 ERA for the Tri-City Posse. Hollinger went 2-2 with a 7.65 ERA in 8 games for the Solano Steelheads, and he went 2-3 with a 6.02 ERA for the Sonoma County Crushers. The 2002 season was his last season as a professional player.
