The Adirondack Trail Blazers began play in 2012 as a member of the New York Collegiate Baseball League. The following year they switched to the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League. The team had previously been the Rome Thunderbolts of the NYCBL before moving to Boonville, NY.
