Biographical Information[edit]
Adam Melhuse hit his first career home run on June 30, 2001, for the Colorado Rockies off pitcher Troy Brohawn of the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Melhuse became a minor league manager with the Burlington (IA) Bees in 2016-2017. He then was hitting coach of the Oklahoma City Dodgers in 2018 and Tulsa Drillers in 2019. He was scheduled to be hitting coach of the Erie SeaWolves in 2020 before the season was cancelled due to Covid-19 then did coach Erie in 2021. Melhuse was hitting coach of the Toledo Mud Hens in 2022.
