Biographical Information

Adam Belicic pitched in the minors and was on the Croatian national team.

Belicic was with Croatia's national team in the summer of 1998. He won 22 games at GWU, third in team annals to that point, and tied for 7th in complete games. The Anaheim Angels chose him in the 33rd round of the 2000 amateur draft, one pick before future major leaguer Jon Coutlangus.

Adam was with the Cedar Rapids Kernels (1-0, 7.20 in 6 G) and Butte Copper Kings (1-2, 3 Sv, 3.25 in 17 G) that summer. He was 0-2 with a save and a 4.78 ERA for the 2001 Danville Braves. Let go by the Angels, he allowed 9 hits and 7 runs in 3 2/3 IP for the independent Yuma Bullfrogs in 2002. He was on Croatia's roster for the 2003 European Championship, apparently serving as the DH this time; he was 2 for 16 with 3 walks but damaged 4 RBI, one behind team leader Damir Karin.
