Abe Naff was 643-236-3 as head coach of Ferrum College from 1985-2007, winning 10 USA South Athletic Conference titles. Among his products were Eric Owens and Billy Wagner, the top two major leaguers from Ferrum through 2013. Naff then became full-time Athletic Director at Ferrum, a role he had held during his last few years as baseball coach.
