2024 Central League Rookie of the Year Award

The 2024 Central League Rookie of the Year Award went to Yomiuri Giants reliever Hiromasa Funabasama, who collected 22 holds with a 2.37 ERA in 51 relief outings. He had 190 of 302 votes. Finishing second with 41 was the Hiroshima Carp's reliever Takumi Kurohara. Also receiving votes were outfielder Shogo Asano of the Yomiuri Giants (8), the Chunichi Dragons' second baseman Mikiya Tanaka (8), Yokohama BayStars' All-Star outfielder Ryuki Watarai (4), Teppei Mataki of the Yomiuri (2), Hanshin Tigers' reliever Ren Tomida (2), Yomiuri's reliever Yuhi Nishidate (1), a pair of Hanshin's reliever Keito Monbetsu and Hidetaka Okadome (1) and Yutaro Ishida of Yokohama (1).
