2023 Pacific League Rookie of the Year Award

The 2023 Pacific League Rookie of the Year Award went to Orix Buffaloes starter Shunpeita Yamashita , who was 9-3 with a 1.61 ERA and started in the team's opening game. He had 241 of 267 votes. Finishing second with 20 was the Rakuten Golden Eagles' reliever Shota Watanabe. Also receiving votes were reliever Yuki Udagawa of Orix (4), Orix outfielder Chano Tokumasa (1) and reliever Shunsuke Nakamori of the Chiba Lotte Marines (1).
