2014 Central League Rookie of the Year Award

The 2014 Central League League Rookie of the Year Award went to Hiroshima Carp starter Daichi Osera, who went 10-8 with a 4.05 ERA. He got 217 of 267 votes.
The other vote-getters were Katsuki Matayoshi of the Chunichi Dragons (26), Koji Fukutani of Chunichi (16), Tomoya Mikami of the Yokohama BayStars (5), Seiji Kobayashi of the Yomiuri Giants (1), Ryuji Ichioka of Hiroshima (1) and Yulieski Gourriel of Yokohama (1). One writer did not vote for anyone.
