2010 Asian Baseball Cup
The 2010 Asian Baseball Cup was the 9th Asian Baseball Cup and was a qualifier for the 2011 Asian Championship but that event was cancelled when host Philippines fell through. It was the last Cup before the event was split into the East Asian Baseball Cup and West Asian Baseball Cup. Held from May 19 to May 23, 2010 in Islamabad, it was dominated by host Pakistan (3-0, 37 R, 7 RA). Hong Kong (2-1, 32 R, 13 RA) was second, followed by Thailand (1-2, 17 R, 23 RA) and Afghanistan (0-3, 4 R, 47 RA), which made their debut in an international tournament.
