The 2006 Women's Baseball World Cup was the second edition of the Women's Baseball World Cup. It was held in Taipei City, Taiwan. It was held from July 31 to August 6 at Tien-Mou Stadium. The competition was won by the United States.

Competition Format and Rules[edit]
The seven competing nations played one game versus each opponent in a round-robin format. Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals were awarded to the top three teams with the best records. All games were played at Tien-Mou Stadium. All games were seven innings in length with a ten run mercy rule in place after five innings. IBAF tiebreakers were in place, with the first tie-breaker being head-to-head record and the second as runs against per inning in the games between the tied teams.

- Australia, Canada, and Japan were tied after the first tie-breaker (head-to-head record) at 1-1. After the second tie-breaker (runs allowed per inning), Japan was second with 0.86 RA/Inn., Canada was third with 0.92 RA/Inn., and Australia was fourth at 1.15 RA/Inn.
