1982 Serie Nazionale
The 1982 Serie A1 saw Parma defend as titlists, led by pitching Triple Crown winner David Farina, the 4th player to accomplish that feat in Italian annals. Giuseppe Carelli of Rimini won MVP, the last time that honor would be given out until 2000 (though retroactive MVPs were later given out for the 1990s).
