1979 Southwestern Athletic Conference Championship Series
The 1979 Southwestern Athletic Conference baseball series was held April 28-29 in Baton Rouge, LA. The series is a best-of-three format which pits the winner of the East Division against the winner of the West Division. Southern University and A&M College defeated Jackson State University for the title.
