1978 Southern States Conference Tournament

The 1978 Southern States Conference baseball tournament was held May 4-6 at Morgan Field in Hattiesburg, MS. East #1 Birmingham-Southern College defeated East #2 University of Montevallo for the title.

Birmingham-Southern, Montevallo, and Huntingdon all advanced to the District 27 tournament. William Carey advanced to the District 30 tournament.
