The 1933 Baltimore Sox, also called the Baltimore Black Sox, were a sub-.500 team in the renewal season of the Negro National League.

Jake Dunn was their top hitter (.392/.431/.520, 154 OPS+) but fielded .867 at short. Player-manager Jesse Hubbard batted .324/.385/.479 for a 130 OPS+ while starting in left field. Other solid contributors included 3B-1B Harry Williams (.293/.344/.479, 32 R in 36 G, .968 fielding at the hot corner, 118 OPS+) and C Tex Burnett (.312/.366/.387, 102 OPS+). Dick Seay (.213/.275/.284, 50 OPS+) started at 2B while Crush Holloway (.282/.346/.415, 103 OPS+, 27 RBI in 36 G) and Bert Johnson (.248/.309/.460, 103 OPS+) rounded out the outfield. Regulars off the bench included middle infielder Anthony Cooper (.290/.355/.435, 111 OPS+) and C Mack Eggleston (.228/.254/.333, 56 OPS+).

Tom Richardson (5-1, 3.44, 123 ERA+) led the league in winning percentage as their clear ace while Slim Jones was okay (5-3, 4.23, 100 ERA+). Less effective were Roy Williams (2-5, 5.07, 84 ERA+), Bun Hayes (5-2, 4.89, 87 ERA+) and Laymon Yokely (0-5, 8.64, 49 ERA+).
