History, Comments, Contributions[edit]
The Cleveland Browns were members of the Negro National League in 1924. One of many failed Negro League clubs from Cleveland, OH over the years, they finished 15-32, the worst record of any team that played the full year. Old-timer Sol White was the manager of the club, which did feature a young Newt Joseph at shortstop; Newt hit just .120 though.
