Biographical Information[edit]
Zora Clevenger was a minor league infielder and college coach.
Clevenger played baseball, football (halfback) and basketball in college. He hit .213 for the 1907 Cedar Rapids Rabbits and .208 for the 1909 Spartanburg Spartans. Clevenger coached Indiana University Bloomington (1905-1906), Nebraska Wesleyan University (1908-1911), the University of Tennessee (1912-1916) and Kansas State University (1919-1921) and was later an athletic director. He was voted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1968.
