Biographical Information[edit]
Zengo Ikeda was a pitcher who represented Japan in the 1972 Amateur World Series, 1973 Intercontinental Cup and 1973 Asian Championship. He played for Suzuki Kawasaki in the Industrial league after college. He also coached the Japanese national team in 1985 Asian Championship, 1997 Asian Championship and 2001 Asian Championship.
