Biographical Information

Catcher Blake "Zeke" Zimmerman coached in the Los Angeles Angels chain for two decades, and on Tom Kotchman's staff for 15 years. The St. Louis Cardinals took him in the 31st round of the 1972 amateur draft. He was 13 for 52 for the 1972 GCL Red Birds with no extra-base hits and 8 walks. He fielded .986, second among Gulf Coast League catchers.

Zimmerman spent 13 years as a coach at Mesa Community College.
