Biographical Information

Zan Von Schlegell was a high school senior when he made the Pakistani national team for the 2022 World Baseball Classic Qualifiers. Hitting sixth and playing short in their opener against Brazil, he got the first run ever for Pakistan in a World Baseball Classic qualifier. He singled off Gabriel Barbosa in the second inning, stole second, advanced on a fielder's choice and scoring when Shahid Sattar hit into a double play. He was 0 for 5 the rest of the qualifier.
