Biographical Information

Zack Foreman was the cousin of Sylvester Foreman. He was the son of a man born into slavery but who became wealthy and after whom his hometown of Foreman, OK was named. His family's prosperity also explains that he was able to go to college. Sadly, he was killed in his hometown after his second major league season season, reportedly in an altercation over a poker game.
