Zach Kapstein has played in the minors.

Kapstein hit .603 with 24 steals as a high school senior. The Boston Red Sox picked him in the 46th round of the 2010 amateur draft; the scout was Ray Fagnant. For the 2010 GCL Red Sox, Kapstein was 0 for 5 with 2 walks and a time hit-by-pitch as a backup catcher. As a 1B-OF in 2011, he hit a stellar .400/.463/.517 in 67 plate appearances.
