Biographical Information[edit]

Zach Crouch pitched three games in the major leagues. In 1 1/3 innings for the Boston Red Sox in 1988, Zach's ERA was 6.75.

Crouch attended Cordova High School. His first professional stop came in Greensboro in 1985, where he went 8-5 with an ERA of 3.78. Moving up to Winter Haven in 1986, he went 9-6 with a 2.72 ERA. In 1987, New Britain of the Eastern League was a bit more challenging, as he posted a record of 6-9 with an ERA of 3.90. The next year he had a better ERA, 3.23, as he went 2-3. He was also in Triple A at Pawtucket where he went 2-8 with a 4.68 ERA. He appeared in Double A and Triple A as well during his big league fling season.
