Biographical Information

Yuuki Takahashi has been on the New Zealand national team. He is not to be confused with contemporary Yuki Takahashi, a pitcher in Japan.

Takahashi was 3 for 4 for his hometown Auckland Tuatara in the 2018-2019 Australian Baseball League, used as a backup outfielder. came to the US for college. The New Zealand native was 0-2 with 11 runs (7 earned) in 6 innings as a junior college freshman, then the 2020 season was wiped out by the COVID-19 pandemic. As a redshirt sophomore, he was 3-2 with a 7.71 ERA.

He transferred to Arkansas Tech for his junior year. He was on New Zealand's squad for the 2022 World Baseball Classic Qualifiers but did not get into a game.
