Biographical Information[edit]
Yuto Hirano played for Western Gas in the Industrial League after college. [1] He represented Japan in the 2023 Asian Championship. Hirano debuted against Pakistan, as a defensive replacement for Masashi Maruyama but he didn't have a chance to hit. He then drew a walk against Sitthichok Aunmueang of Thailand and scored. He pinch-ran, scored and was 0-for-1 in the next game against the Philippines, playing second base. He then stayed on the bench in the next three games. Japan beat Taiwan and win the Gold. [2]
