Biographical Information[edit]
Yuusuke Nishizawa was an outfielder who represented Japan in the 1998 Baseball World Cup. He hit .417/.533/.556 with 14 runs in 10 games, fielding .963 in center and stealing four bases in four tries. He tied Tomohiro Nioka and Lingfeng Sun for second in steals, behind Davide Rigoli. He tied Loidel Chapellí for second in runs, behind Robelquis Videaux, outscoring both the Russian national team and South African national team. He played for Mitsubishi Kawasaki in the Industrial League.
