Biographical Information[edit]

Yunis Haleem was 1-1 with two saves and a 6.98 ERA for Chicago State in 2018 and 2-5 with 3 saves and a 4.02 ERA in 2019, cutting his WHIP from 2.09 to 1.49. He helped the Palestine America team finish second in the 2023 West Asia Baseball Cup to win a spot in the 2023 Asian Championship; he won best pitcher honors. [1] In the 2023 Asian Championship, he played in all five of their games, appearing at SS, P, RF, LF and DH. In their first game, he batted second and played right field versus Hong Kong. He flew out against Chun-Pui Mok his first time up but then singled in the 4th for their first hit ever in an Asian Championship. He batted .200/.250/.200 with two runs in five games for the event, fielding .933 and posting a 12.00 ERA. He took the loss to Taiwan's Yu-Cheng Wu. [2]
