Biographical Information[edit]
Yu-jin Kim pitched in the Korea Baseball Organization and later was a college coach.
Kim was signed by the LG Twins in 1992, but he mainly stayed in the minors and he only pitched one game in each of the '92 and 1994 seasons. He was released in 1997, and the Ssangbangwool Raiders signed him. Kim had a 3.17 ERA in 29 games in 1998, but his ERA rose to 7.11 in 7 games in 1999 and he was released. He later coached Dankook University, and he coached the South Korea national baseball team in the 2023 Asian Championship.
Overall, Kim was 0-3 with a 3.88 ERA, struck out 37 in 69 2/3 innings in 4 seasons in KBO.
