Biographical Information

Yu-Kai Huang played in the CPBL for 3 years.

Huang was drafted by the Sinon Bulls in the 8th round of the 2009 CPBL Draft, and he hit .239/.316/.353 with 3 homers in the minors in 2010. The Bulls released him after the 2010 season, and he signed with the La New Bears. Huang led the minors with 4 homers in 2011, and his batting line was .255/.333/.457 in 26 games. He also played 17 games with the big club, and he went 6-for-42. Huang then improved to .313/.398/.531 in the minors in 2012, and he led the league in dingers and RBI in 2013 with a .343/.452/.571 batting line. However, he still couldn't get many chances with the big club, and he only had 22 at-bats combined in this period. Huang announced his retirement after the 2013 season.

Overall, Yeh hit .141/.191/.219 with 9 hits in 3 seasons in the CPBL.
