Yoshiki Fuchigami has pitched for the Japanese national team.
Fuchigami played for Toyota in the industrial leagues after college. [1] He pitched for Japan in the 2022 Asian Games. Fuchigami's first appearance was against Laos when he relieved Kisho Iwamoto in the 4th inning. He struck out four in two innings, and completed a perfect game in a 5-inning mercy rule win. He then succeeded Iwamoto again versus Taiwan, pitched 3 shutout innings, allowing two hits to Li Lin and Pei-Feng Dai and got the win over Yan-Cheng Wang. Japan got the Bronze. [2]
