Biographical Information

Yordany Salva has played in the minors and for the Puerto Rican national team.

Salva was picked by the Kansas City Royals in the 28th round of the 2016 amateur draft. He did well in a brief look with the Burlington Royals that summer - 5 for 16, 2B, HR, 3 BB, 3 R, 3 RBI for a 1013 OPS, while handling 35 chances error-free behind the dish. Despite that solid play, he did not appear for them in 2017 then was with Puerto Rico's team for the 2018 Central American and Caribbean Games.
