Biographical Information[edit]

Yong-seok Ku was on the South Korean national team that won the 1975 Asian Championship, 1975 Intercontinental Cup and 1977 Intercontinental Cup - their second Asian Championship and then their first global title. In between, he played in the 1976 Amateur World Series. In the 1978 Amateur World Series, he split third for the Bronze Medalists with Bo-sung Cheun. He was 2 for 17 with 3 walks, two runs and a RBI while fielding .889. He was picked by the Samsung Lions in the 1st round of the 1983 KBO draft but never played in the KBO.
