The Yomiuri Shimbun, sometimes called the Yomiuri Daily News is English, is a newspaper in Japan founded in 1874. It is owned by the same company which owns the Yomiuri Giants. Currently the Yomiuri Shimbun is the largest circulated newspaper in the world. Matsutaro Shoriki owned the paper. Writers have included Hideo Fujimoto, Kuo-Cheng Hsieh, Chujun Tobita and Tsuneo Watanabe.
