Biographical Information[edit]

Yi-Nan Lee pitched in the CPBL and the TML for 7 years. His brother is former TML outfielder Kuo-Cheng Lee.

Lee represented Taiwan in the 1988 Haarlemse Honkbalweek The Chinatrust Whales signed him when they were founded in 1997, and he had a 4.33 ERA in 26 games in his rookie year. His ERA rose to 5.92 in 16 games in 1998, and the Whales released him. He then signed with the Wei Chuan Dragons, and Lee's ERA was 4.88 in 13 appearances. He jumped to the Kaoping Fala in 2000, and he was 6-6 with a 2.95 ERA. Lee had a 3-4 record with a 2.43 ERA in 2001, but he slumped to 0-4 with a 6.61 ERA in 2002. When the two leagues merged in 2003. Lee was assigned to the Macoto Cobras. He had a 3.95 ERA in 22 games, then he announced his retirement.

Overall, Lee was 10-19 with a 3.89 ERA, struck out 197 and pitched 386 1/3 innings in 7 seasons in the CPBL. His repertoire included a fastball, curveball, slider and forkball.
