Biographical Information

Yi-Min Tsai had a brief career in the CPBL.

Tsai was drafted by the CTBC Brothers in the 7th round of the 2014 CPBL Draft, and he hit .296/.370/.469 in the minors in 2015 while leading the league in RBI and strikeouts. He also played 3 games with the big club, but those were his only CPBL appearances. Tsai hit .335/.371/.575 with 13 homers and led the minors in RBI again in 2016 (he didn't get a chance in the CPBL due to the presence of Cheng-Min Peng plus Tsai's poor glovework), but his batting line fell to .256/.326/.308 in 2017. He announced his retirement in 2018 after hitting .231/.286/.308 in the minors.
