Biographical Information[edit]
Young-gil Park managed and coached in the Korea Baseball Organization for more than 10 years.
Park represented the South Korean national team in the 1963 Asian Championship, 1965 Asian Championship, 1967 Asian Championship, 1969 Asian Championship, 1971 Asian Championship, 1973 Asian Championship and 1975 Intercontinental Cup. He was named the manager of the Lotte Giants when they were founded in 1982, and he left the team in 1983. Park then became the batting coach of the Samsung Lions from 1984 to 1986, then he managed them from 1987 to 1988. He was named the the manager of the Pacific Dolphins from 1990 to 1991.
