Biographical Information

Yao-Tsung Ou pitched in the CPBL for 2 years.

Ou represented Taiwan in the 2010 World Junior Championship, hitting .263/.375/.263 with 3 steals in 3 tries and 7 runs in 7 games. Only Petr Síla had more steals in the event. He was drafted by the CTBC Brothers in the 9th round of the 2015 CPBL Draft, and his ERA was 2.16 in 20 games in the minors in 2016. He had a 3.78 ERA in 14 games there in 2017, and he also pitched 4 games with a 14.74 ERA with the big club. However, Ou only pitched 2 games in 2018, then he was released. The Wei Chuan Dragons then picked him up, and Ou had a 2.45 ERA in 14 games in the minors in 2021. He announced his retirement after that season.

Overall, Ou was 0-0 with a 21.21 ERA, pitched 4 2/3 innings and struck out 1 in 2 seasons in the CPBL.
