Biographical Information[edit]
Ya-gob Jin pitched for South Korea in the 2007 Baseball World Cup. The teenager went 0-1 with a 7.71 ERA, with 4 walks, a hit batsmen and two wild pitches in 4 2/3 innings. He had the highest ERA on South Korea's staff by almost four points.
Jin was drafted in the first round by the Doosan Bears in 2008. He debuted that year in the KBO, going 2-0 with a 4.45 ERA in 33 games, walking 21 in 32 1/3 IP.
