Biographical Information[edit]
Pitcher Willy Paulino played in the St. Louis Cardinals system from 2009 to 2013.
He had a few seasons of particular note: In 2010, he was 4-3 with a 2.76 ERA in 16 games (10 starts) for the DSL Cardinals. He went 1-0 with 13 saves and a 2.16 ERA in 24 relief appearances, striking out 39 batters in 33 1/3 innings, between the GCL Cardinals (23 games) and Johnson City Cardinals (1 game). He was a Gulf Coast League Post-Season All-Star that year. In 2012, he averaged more than a strikeout per innings, despite posting a 5.70 ERA.
Overall, he went 13-16 with a 3.79 ERA in 105 games (34 starts).
