Biographical Information

Willy Guedez has played for the Venezuelan national team. He helped Venezuela to a Silver Medal in the 2005 South American Championship. He was arguably Venezuela's ace in the 2006 Central American and Caribbean Games, going 2-0 with a 2.35 ERA and 14 strikeouts in 15 1/3 IP. He gave up just 9 hits. In the 2006 COPABE Olympic Qualifiers, he allowed 5 hits, 3 walks and 3 runs in 3 innings.

Guedez allowed 3 runs in 4 1/3 innings in the 2008 Americas Baseball Cup. He is with Venezuela for the 2009 Baseball World Cup.
