Biographical Information

Pitcher William Dietrich played in the minor leagues from 1953 to 1959. He won at least 10 games twice (1955: 10-4 W-L, 4.81 ERA for the Monroe Sports; 1956: 10-13 W-L, 3.91 ERA for the Winston-Salem Twins). In 1958, he had a 2.44 ERA in 81 innings split between the Sioux City Soos and Reading Indians.

Overall, he was 40-41 in 140 games.

He is the son of major league pitcher Bill Dietrich.
