Biographical Information

Will West has pitched in the minors.

He pitched back-to-back no-hitters in high school and was twice All-State there. He was signed by Milwaukee Brewers scout Ryan Robinson as an undrafted free agent. He was 1-3 with a 3.99 ERA for the 2011 AZL Brewers, striking out 42 in 38 1/3 IP but allowed a .307 average. He split 2012 between the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers (1-1, 6.20, .362 opponent average) and Helena Brewers (0-4, 7.84, .345). In 2013, he had allowed four runs (three earned) in 5 1/3 innings for the AZL Brewers before he received a 50-game suspension for a banned substance on August 5, 2013
