Biographical Information

Though an under-the-radar 8th-round pick in the 2021 amateur draft, Will Warren climbed the ranks of the New York Yankees minor league system quickly. In only his second professional season in 2023, Warren made it to AAA with the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders. He was also the Yankees' 10th-ranked prospect in 2023. [1]

He reached the majors on July 30, 2024, when he started against the Philadelphia Phillies at Citizens Bank Park. In 5 1/3 innings, he gave up 4 runs on 4 hits and 2 walks while striking out 6. One of the hits was a three-run homer by Austin Hays. He was not involved in the decision as the Yankees won the game, 7-6, in 10 innings.
